How to Differentiate Yourself as a Personal Trainer
How do you stand out from so many PTs?
You have a passion for helping people to find their "fit" and lead a healthy life. You have studied up, developed a full scheme of exercise, but you still feel that you go unnoticed. There are a few reasons why this is happening ranging from the overwhelming number of personal trainers on social media to the big players developing apps that serve aspiring "workouters" to do it on their own. In order to stand out from the crowd, you need to build a strong brand.
Part of building a strong personal brand, is understanding the type of solution you offer. Then, you need to convey to people how this solution solves their problem in a way that is preferable to others. We are confident that you might have worked on this for quite a while, so we are here to help.
Here's a little story:
A personal trainer's highest asset is their body. Let me share a personal story here. When I was a little girl my mom would often take me with her to her pilates sessions. My time there was a blast and often I would feel like I was falling behind, as the older ladies were conducting the exercises with great precision. However, what I remember the most was the trainer. I would scan her from top to bottom and notice even the smallest details. Part of my scanning process was necessary so that I could follow her, or his, lead. Part of it though was because I was aspiring to be like them. The easiest way to be like them was "copy" what they were wearing. Now that I realize it, my mother was putting herself into some uncharted waters without knowing. Whoops!
If you don't want to take it from me as a kid, take it from me as an adult. Your sportswear matters. This is where people's eyes fall, no offence! So, why compromise at wearing generic brands?
Think customizable sportswear
At Right Cross Athletics, we offer you the option to customize your sportswear. We help you build your personal trainer brand, or build upon it. Your clothes are now a real extension of yourself. They are more than just a pair of shorts, or yoga leggings. They are Kat's leggings, or Tim's shorts.
